I'd heard about this from someone else. Maybe it actually is in production but there's been talk about a film adaptation of "Ask the Dust" for as long as I can remember. I know at one point Emilio Estevez apparently owned the rights. Jesus, man, Colin Farrell as Arturo Bandini?! Sorry, I just don't see much in that guy. It was sort of amusing to read articles on him when he first started getting a big shove -- all those journalists utterly amazed that someone was smoking and drinking and getting laid -- in other words, just being a normal guy. You'd have thought that had never happened before! But he looks like a freaking model and he's got all the depth of a shot glass filled with Pepsi.

Ah, well. I won't see it.
